Sam has been involved in earthmoving for over 15 years. Originally from a large property in Western NSW, Sam grew up surrounded by large machinery and has brought this wealth of experience into establishing Greenstar Earthmoving in 2012. A father of four, Sam enjoys working and living in beautiful Alstonville.

Marketing and Community Liaison Officer

Mel has worked in marketing and communications for the past 15 years whilst raising four young children. She is dedicated to ensuring Greenstar Earthmoving communicates it’s skills and experience effectively to all stakeholders.

Phill Dudgeon

Site Manager

Philip is a highly experienced operator with over 15 years experience. Philip can manage a large variety of projects from civil earthworks to house pads and landscaping. Philip is local to the Northern Rivers and knows our unique environment well.

Tony Fryer

Operations Manager

With over 25 years experience in civil infrastructure works, Tony brings a wealth of experience to the Greenstar Earthmoving team.  This enables Greenstar to produce the highest quality results on time and on budget.


Merv Dudgeon


Merv is our agricultural expert and has extensive experience in horticultural property development.  Merv specialises in onsite water management, stormwater management, erosion control and soil profiling, as well as farm capital development such as mounding up macadamia and other orchard trees, wood chipping and pruning.
